Inspired by the golden age of Edo Japan, Ukiyo Legal Studio is a boutique consultancy serving both sides of Africa’s creative and cultural economy: we connect global investors to sustainable opportunities across the continent, and support Africa’s creative founders and brands with the legal and fundraising infrastructure needed to build enduring, internationally competitive businesses.

We chose this sector because it is often underrepresented, underfunded, and underserved, yet it employs millions and is among the continent’s most compelling drivers of growth. Ukiyo positions its clients to access markets and capital, navigate legal and operational complexity, and establish a lasting presence, whether they are coming to the continent or already building within it.
